Discover our favorite hotel in Las Vegas – and why we love it so much!
While planning our trip to Las Vegas, we knew we wanted to stay right on the strip. You might be wondering – why a trip to Vegas again, when you’ve already been once? Well, my friends, Vegas is a world that continues to evolve constantly, with new offerings every year. When I say offerings, I mean – new restaurants and shows, new stores, etc. More and more celebrity chefs are making their restaurants at home in Las Vegas, specially at hotels on the strip! So when choosing where to stay, we wanted a hotel that first was a reasonable rate but also had access to some of the best new restaurants in Vegas and that’s why the MGM Grand Hotel was the winner!
Our room was sleek, with modern furnishings, inspired artwork, and a color palette awash in jewel tones, bronzes and charcoals, making it the perfect place to relax at the end of the day or sleep in after a long night in the town. The great view of the Strip was perfect – we could see it all but couldn’t hear all the craziness out there, perfect for when we wanted to day nap. The room was lush in colors – which made us feel like royalty! Classic amenities included: Luxurious king size bed with Presidential pillow-top Serta mattress (super comfortable!), 40” HDTV (for the husband to catch up on ESPN between gambling), Carrera marble-adorned bathroom with oversized backlit vanity (love me a huge bathroom), Glass top desk and executive chair (perfect for getting work done), Media hub that connects all your devices (so necessary with all my devices!), Laptop-sized safe (don’t you hate it when the safe doesn’t accommodate your laptop!?). Oh and a fully stocked minibar!
Centrally located in the Strip – the MGM Grand Hotel also had two Starbucks in the lobby (much needed every morning!), as well as some amazing restaurants that I will share about in my next post about Vegas!

I stayed at the MGM Grand when I went to Vegas for my first time last year and had the BEST experience. I was in a Stay Well room and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else next time! This makes me want to visit Vegas again ASAP!
