You might think Vegas was just celebrity restaurants, late night expensive meals and 4 course lunches; at least, after the last 3 posts you might! But during our time in Vegas, M. and I ate at random spots found through “foursquare” and running into them randomly.
One night we planned on going to the Mirage for the night and just hanging out there, so I looked up what the dinner options were and found B.B. Kings Restaurant & Blues Club. I choose this because it was Southern cooking restaurant, and we both love it! We ordered Buffalo Chicken Wings, Cheese Dip with Nachos and the star of the show, Fried Chicken with Mac and Cheese and Gravy! The picture isn’t very good because it was dark and was with M.’s phone:
Doesn’t this look just delicious?! Ah! Creamy, delicious cheese sauce with perfectly cooked pasta, topped with two thick, juicy chicken breasts fried to perfection. And top THAT with gravy and scallions! Oh, and the corn muffin. I decided to avoid that. Don’t need MORE carbs right? Hahaha!
Up next is PBR Rock Bar and Grill, where we stopped after walking through the Fashion Square Mall on the Strip. We sat outside where the sun was shining and I sat with my back to a heat lamp, because it was still cool out; we went there for lunch.

The Famous Excalibur Show! M. wanted to go see this show and it was honestly one of the best ideas. You’d think it would be a corny, kid show but it is actually a very exciting show. Knights, Horses and food you eat with your hands! Our menu consisted of: Tomato Soup as an appetizer; for an entree it was a WHOLE roasted chicken, 2 boiled potatoes, a bunch of broccoli, a biscuit; dessert was an Apple Turnover. The best part? You had no cutlery! You ate with you hands! Love it! Some phone pics…
