Summer cocktails are some of the best cocktails ever – drinking a chilled drink on your porch or sipping on it while watching the sunset on Martha’s Vineyard. Recreate this White Tea & Watermelon Cocktail at home, I promise your summer will become the best ever!
Working in a restaurant kitchen for 12-14 hour days means one thing: you always, always deserve a cocktail at the end of your shift. My husband tends to stick to gin & tonics but I’m all about the fun cocktails, specially ones that have a good tart/sweet balance. So when The Owl’s Brew sent me samples to try out, I knew my afterwork cocktail game would be stepped up a notch.
A little about Owl’s Brew: It is one of the only products on the market that is fresh-brewed and bottled. They brew the product in Vermont in large kettles, where it is handcrafted in small batches, and then sweetened, packed, and bottled. Not only am I obsessed with the product taste, but the branding and look of it is phenomenal! Oh and the recipes online? Outrageously gorgeous. Make sure to check them out here.
The White Vine is a blend of white tea, pomegranate, lemon peel, and watermelon juice. The white tea gives the cocktail a light floral note, while the pomegranate adds that tartness, and the lemon and watermelon round it out with sweetness. And the color? Just the perfect summer cocktail, seriously. No, I’m not being paid to say this. Heck, they sent these just because they wanted to be nice. I promise, you’ll love these blends! Go out and buy some today – I’ve seen them at my local liquor stores (or as we call them in MA, package stores) as well as online. Go forth and drink!
