This past weekend, the 3rd Annual MV Wine Fest took place in the heart of downtown Edgartown! For the past months, our team was hard at work putting events together, connecting with local chefs, inquiring with national brands, and somehow – the weekend came together to be one of the best weekends on island!
May is the perfect time for a wine festival on Cape Cod and the Islands – it’s the start of the warm weather and is considered the kick-off for the busy season on the Cape. Over 500 wineries were present, along with local restaurants and chefs; we hosted private winer dinners in local homes of generous people that opened their doors to foodies and winos alike; various seminars about rose wine, craft beer, and cocktail making were taught; a grand tasting of wines and spirits that lasted four hours and was the best time ever; and to culminate, a leisurely afternoon of oysters and champagne.

This is fabulous– it has been so long since I’ve been to the Vineyard. Time to go back!
Uh, I want to be there this coming May!! 🙂 This looks amazing. I have only been to Cape Cod once, & it was only for a few hours while I was visiting Boston. I would love to return to the Cape for a longer visit… and for the wine, lol. 😉
