I don’t know Jennifer Perillo, but her world was flipped inside-out, upside-down on August 7th when her husband and love of her life Mikey died of a sudden heart attack. This made everyone stop in their tracks and we all took a step back and realized how short life really can be. Things like this happen and all I wish for is a rewind button, a delete button, someway to make it go away. I cannot imagine what Jennie and her girls are going through right now, but I want to reach out to them in any way possible.
Bloggers without Borders has set up #afundforjennie and every little bit helps. She’s now needing all the support we can give her, not only emotionally through words, but financially as well because as we all know, the world doesn’t go ’round on brownies.
By clicking below, you’ll be taken to a secured PayPal account to donate anything you can to Jennie and her girls. Please consider donating any small or big amount you can, every. little. bit. helps. Thank you!

Thanks for posting this! Such a great cause!!
I donated, but wish I could have given so much more than I did 🙁 However, every little bit counts, and it’s so awesome to see the blogosphere come together and wrap around Jennie and her girls to provide love and support and help them every way they can. So moving and beautiful.
Marnely, this is such a touching, heartfelt gesture. I came by to say “tag, you’re it!” in a blog “game” — even though it sounds frivolous at this juncture, if it generates a few more readers who will ultimately contribute to this worthy fund, then that’s what the blogging community is all about. Thanks, my friend!
sigh with every post dedicated to her family, my heart breaks. life is short. too short. can’t waste any moment!
Nella, You’re an ANGEL! I knew it right from the start. To give and share unconditionally, without knowing the person, well, that is a gift. I hope you get to meet Jennifer Perillo someday, soon. I met her once and she is another Angel, too. God bless you!
