Today, I’ve partnered up with Ancient Harvest Quinoa to host a giveaway of some of my favorite products. Make sure to read all about what makes them special and scroll down and enter to win.
From the high plains of Bolivia to the majestic mountains of Boulder, Colorado, the Ancient Harvest brand has a long history with quinoa. They were the first company to bring quinoa to the United States in 1983 when they walked the very first bag of this “supergrain of the future®” into a Boulder food store. And to this day, they are the premier brand of organic quinoa and innovative ancient grain products.
What’s not to love about a company that was THE FIRST to introduce quinoa into the USA? Quinoa has become part of our lifestyles, no longer a foodie trend. It’s literally in every city, every menu, every grocery store! And now, thanks to them – one reader will win this prize pack giveaway of quinoa products from Ancient Harvest!
Be sure to read the Q&A about trends I did for them on their blog over on Ancient Harvest.

We eat quinoa all the time. I love to cook up a big portion, then keep it in the fridge for the week. We add it to salads, eat it warmed up with almond milk for breakfast with some fruit and honey, chop up veggies and toss with vinaigrette…it’s endless! LOVE quinoa!
I love quinoa salads – quinoa mixed with vegetables, nuts, and a little cheese goes a long way!
The Fresh From the Farm Cookbook by Susie Middleton has a great Southwestern Quinoa Salad with Black Beans and Farm Stand Vegetables, that I love.
I don’t think I have a favorite recipe yet. Still looking!
I use quinoa flour in quick breads like banana nut bread but my favorite way to use it is in my morning oatmeal. I cook up a batch for the week and store it in the fridge, adding a bit to my oats everyday.
