In your blender, place sugar, eggs, milk, and melted butter. Blend for 10 seconds.
Add the dry ingredients (flours, salt, pepper, and baking powder) and blend until it is all incorporated. You might need to scrape the sides of the blender mid-way.
Pour batter into a bowl and fold in grated cheddar and herbs.
Cook in your waffle iron, as per manufacture's instructions.
