Kenny's Smokin' Butter Cake

This is probably the best butter cake you'll ever have - make it today!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup 1 stick, 112 grams unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 box 16 ounces, 455 grams pound cake mix
  • 1 pound 455 grams powdered sugar
  • 8 ounces 225 grams cream cheese, room temperature

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan and set aside.
  • In a mixer, beat butter, 2 eggs, and cake mix until well combined. Pour into greased pan and spread evenly.
  • In another bowl, whip together the other 2 eggs, powdered sugar, and cream cheese. Pour over cake mix in pan and bake for 45 minutes, until golden brown and the center is cooked.
  • Slice and serve with powdered sugar, fresh berries, or all by its self.
