This is by far the best turkey chili you'll ever taste - packed with protein from the lean turkey meat and beans, plus full of flavor from the spices, it'll become your go-to recipe for chili.
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, deseeded and chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 pounds ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons cumin
  • 1 tablespoon (or more) kosher salt
  • 28 ounce can diced tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 can red beans, rinsed
  • 1 can black beans, rinsed
  • 1 can corn kernels, rinsed
  • 4 cups liquid (water or chicken stock)
  1. In a large stock pot, start by heating the coconut oil and sautéing the onion, green pepper, and garlic until aromatic.
  2. Add the ground turkey and stir to break up and cook for approximately 10-15 minutes until browned. Mix in the seasonings, tomatoes, beans, corn, and liquid.
  3. Simmer for one hour, until chili has reduced.
