Honey Summer Ale Beer Bread

This quick bread makes use of all the chilled summer ale beers you have in the fridge right now - slather a slice with butter and enjoy while warm!
  • 1 cup bread flour
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ tablespoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ½ stick butter, melted
  • 1, 12 ounce summer ale beer
  1. Preheat the oven to 350F and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Whisk together all the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the honey and butter.
  4. Add the beer to the dry ingredients, mixing just to incorporate.
  5. Drizzle in the honey/butter mixture and fold in.
  6. Pour batter into loaf pan and bake for about 30-35 minutes, until golden brown.
