Once again, the simplest recipes are the best. This Chocolate Raspberry Almond Pastry is made with three ingredients and delivers on looks and flavor! Using the new Lake Champlain Restorative Moments Collection which I can’t wait to share with you all – if you’re a chocolate lover, keep reading.
Restorative Moments Collection by Lake Champlain Chocolates
Inspired by nature and crafted from organic and fair trade certified extra-dark chocolate, the Restorative Moments Collection was born from the desire that chocolate should preserve and protect restorative moments, both in life and in our environment. 10% of the net profits from these bars will go towards preserving and protecting our waterways, like our namesake, Lake Champlain.
Today, more than ever, people seek restorative moments of peace and serenity- this new line will transport you from the daily chaos if for a brief moment, as well as restore the quality and integrity of restorative places in nature.
The line has six flavors: Extra Dark, Lightly Salted, Hazelnut Crunch, Crunchy Quinoa, Golden Spice, and Raspberry Jam. For this recipe, I used the raspberry jam bar because I knew I wanted to serve it alongside fresh raspberries and make it an option for either breakfast or dessert.
This Chocolate Raspberry Almond Pastry recipe is just what you need when you’re looking for a quick treat with honestly only two ingredients (puff pastry and a chocolate bar), or four of you count the almonds sprinkled on top and the raspberries served on the side.
It’s amazing what a piece of chocolate can do.
These bars were sent as a gift and I was under no obligation to share about them, but after reading about their conservation efforts, how could I not?! When brands align so well with my own mission and hope for the world, I want to tell everyone!
“Great tasting chocolate can transport you beyond the chaos of everyday life to a restorative moment of peace and serenity. Truly extraordinary chocolate has the power to do this, while also making the world a better place. Here at Lake Champlain Chocolates, we work in pursuit of these extraordinary chocolate moments for all — from the mom that’s looking for her sweet chocolate escape to the hard-working cocoa farmer, and everyone in between.
As a certified B Corporation®, we believe in using business as a force for good — crafting gourmet chocolate that benefits people, planet, profit, and purpose. We are constantly working to improve every aspect of the chocolate making process, whether it’s exploring more exciting flavor combinations, strengthening our partnerships within our local community, or expanding our sustainability initiatives.
The new Restorative Moments Collection is the next step in our sustainability journey. Crafted not only out of the desire to embrace the restorative moments in life and in nature, but to preserve and protect the spaces that cultivate these experiences.
Lake Champlain, our namesake, is one of these special places. Not only is our chocolate factory located on the shores of this waterway, but it’s part of an ecosystem whose health is crucial to our local producers and the farmers that provide our fresh cream, sweet butter, and other local ingredients. Lake Champlain is also part of our community — a place where we can make memories with family, gather with friends, or enjoy a moment of sweet serenity. For our new Restorative Moments Collection, we are proud to be partnering with the Intervale Center’s Conservation Nursery — donating 10% of net profits from this collection to an organization that plants trees in order to help restore the quality and integrity of our waterways.”
