Another day, another Beauty for Foodies edition. As we build up our content, focusing first on products I love and use and then moving on to more interactive content, today I’m sharing a little about my two favorite products from Amaki Skincare.
Let’s talk about oils and not freak out. Let’s talk about oils and not instantly assume that if you have oil skin or acne prone skin, you have to stay away from oils. I’m here to tell you that clean, natural oils are your skin’s best friend when it comes to hydrating and balancing. Face and body oils can do wonders to heal, repair, and protect your skin and this Jasmine & Rose Nourishing Oil does all that for us!
First of all, the smell. It smells like a fresh garden of flowers and that’s the jasmine and rose infused – you can even see tiny rosebuds floating in this oil. They’ve blended argan, evening primrose, jojoba, sweet alone, and rosehip oils to create this and it’s quite a genius concoction. This goes on so smooth and absorbs so nicely uno your skin, I can’t help buy be sad I’ve already finished my first bottle and should threat myself to a second bottle, it’s that good!
Their second product I love is the Flowers & Salts Bath Soak, which to be honest, I use in foot soaks more than baths. Can I be honest? I hate baths. I hate filling up a bathtub of warm water and just sitting in it makes me anxious, thus foot soaks are my thing! Because it’s something I can do while typing and working from home and this bath soak blend just makes it ultra luxe. Ingredients in this include Dead Sea Salt, Epsom Salt, lavender essential oil, and dried flowers. The salts really help ease tension in your muscles and eliminate heavy metals from you body, so I definitely do recommend doing a full bath soak if baths are your thing. The aroma is also surreal in this Amaki product – once the salts and flowers hit the hot water, the smell is incredible – so a bath and aromatherapy all in one.
I’d recommend the beauty oil and soak if you’re looking for a way to relax this season – heck, soak in the salts and then slather the oil all over before bed. Dreamy, I tell you!
