Chipotle Honey Glazed Salmon is grilled salmon, with the sweetest, spiciest glaze you’ll ever taste. It may even be the easiest end-of-summer dinner to make, and you’ll fall in love with it!
When we bought a grill, I asked my husband for just one thing; a grill that I could man myself. I don’t want to act like a damsel in distress, but even as a cook, fire is still something I have massive respect (and a tad of fear) for. Hearing my request, he choose a propane grill with an easy start, ideal for people like me. And it’s the perfect little grill for grilling salmon!
Today’s recipe and post are quick and easy, because it’s the end of summer and we should all be outside grilling, drinking on our decks, and enjoying the warm weather before the cool weather starts to hit New England. I can’t even THINK about winter right now though – can fall just last forever? Pretty please?
In the meantime, make this salmon. It’s super easy – basically you drench it in olive oil and season it with salt and pepper. Throw it on the grill while you whisk together honey and chipotle pepper puree (the canned ones)! Brush on that glaze, let caramelize, flip and brush again. Dinner is ready! I served this with some leftover rice and beans I had from the night before, a quick salad and a dollop of my favorite Sabra Guacamole. Tis the season for quick and healthy meals!
