Are you ready for some football? Today we’re sharing these simple Sesame, Honey, and Soy Drumsticks – a heartier Superbowl snack than some scrawny buffalo wings! Sprinkled with sesame seeds, your tastebuds will love you!
Let’s all be honest here – who is looking forward to the Superbowl not for the football but for the football food? *raises hand* and I know I’m not the only one! Nothing better than yelling and screaming at the TV while dipping chips into our Sriracha Shrimp Cheese Dip and sipping on local beers! To round out our menu this year, we’re making a triple-batch of these chicken drumsticks!
These drumsticks are pretty simple and can be made with items you already have in your pantry: soy sauce, olive oil, honey, and sesame seeds! Grab a package of drumsticks that are probably on sale at your local grocery store and throw them in the oven. Bake them halfway and then toss in the simple marinade. They’ll come out sticky and delicious!
A quick sprinkling of sesame seeds – we used both white and black sesame seeds – add a lovely added texture and flavor! And actually, did you know “white” sesame seeds aren’t really white, but just hulled black sesame seeds? Yes! Same seed, one with hull and another without. Buy black sesame seeds from SavorX.
