Being a little nutty (little being an understatement) myself, I am a huge fan of nuts. Toasted, Roasted, Candied, Raw; I love whole nuts, sliced nuts, nut pieces, nut powder, nut flours, nut pastes, nut butters. When I received nut butters from Once Again, I seriously went a little nuttier! The Almond Butter was my favorite, creamy and although there was natural oil separation, a quick stir was all it needed!
Here’s some information about Once Again from their website that makes me love this company even more!
- All of Once Again Nut Butter Products are gluten free and our organic products are free of genetically modified organisms (GMO’s). We also package our products in glass jars whenever possible.
- Once Again Nut Butter cares about the environment and you. One of the ways we do this is by packaging all of our nut butters in glass jars. Glass packaging eliminates any health concerns caused from chemical seepage in plastic. Glass jars are also less demanding on our environment and easier to recycle. Glass also extends the shelf life of the product.
- Why Organic? Organic products are produced without synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. It is our belief that our organic products are a healthier, tastier alternative to the conventional. Research has shown that organic crops, on average, contain higher levels of trace minerals, vitamin C , and antioxidants. Organic farming is also better for our soil, and better overall for our environment.

We pay US prices for those commodities and are currently working on obtaining our Fair Trade status.
Of course, I made brownies. Brownies and Almond Butter, what could be better?! The Almond Butter added that gooey-ness, a well as an earthy and of course nutty flavor to the brownie. A swirl on top was all it needed. It baked in without sinking or burning on top, and set to a sticky and delicious addition! Bake brownies topped with your favorite nut butter as a delicious afternoon treat to accompany your coffee!
Now would be the time I share this brownie recipe right? Well, I can’t. You see, this is my Mother’s brownie recipe, one she has worked on for the past 2 decades. She’s got me under the “I gave birth to you, so you do as I say” oath, one that is impossible to break. So instead, I am sharing my top 3 brownie recipes online that are on my list to try! Check them out and add some nutty butter!
