Berry Breakfast Smoothie

Good Morning! Buenos Dias! This might come as a shocker, but when I have a fruit smoothie for breakfast, I don’t consume any coffee that morning. It’s something about not wanting to combine both tastes, or maybe it’s just the crazy in me? Either way, yesterday morning I didn’t have coffee and made this simple smoothie.

It’s a quick recipe, with very few ingredients and easily adaptable to whatever berries you have available. Currently in season are blackberries, so those would be delicious in this as well. Add a dash of spices such as cinnamon or ginger for an extra added health benefit and flavor.

Berry Breakfast Smoothie
 Serves 2
1 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup frozen cranberries
2 cups orange juice
dash of cinnamon

  1. Add berries and orange juice in blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Season with a dash of cinnamon and serve with a yellow straw! Cheers!

Cinnamon has so many medicinal benefits and I love it! Oddly enough it’s never made it’s only made an appearance in my chai smoothie. Love it Nella!

Sounds bracing! I hate orange juice foam, so I rarely put an orange into my smoothies.
