One of the restaurants we visited while in Chicago was Union Sushi + Barbeque Bar. They’re incredibly active on Twitter (like it should be!) and I’ve followed their delicious tweets for a while now, so it was a must for me to visit and enjoy their delicious food. Enjoy the pictorial tour of our dinner!

“Union Sushi + Barbeque Bar is a neighborhood restaurant that unites Japanese culinary tradition and creativity with a distinctly American persona. We combine the fresh, tempered art of Japanese cooking with the casual, colorful ambiance of an American neighborhood restaurant. Our menu embraces snacking and sharing, features a broad range of Kushiyaki (grilled meat, seafood and vegetables on a skewer) and a variety of sushi and sashimi.”  – eatatunion.com

If you either live in the city of Chicago or will be visiting, it’s a must eat. The food was fantastic and the service was great. The ambiance is very modern, with a view of the open fire where they grill everything, as well as a Chef’s Table. Follow them on Twitter @eatatunion and show them some love on their Facebook page as well.
