This Valentine’s Day cocktail is the perfect, uncomplicated way to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year. Your loved one will appreciate the crisp flavors and gorgeous color in this cocktail!

Recently,  I had the chance to review the book Brooklyn Spirits: Craft Cocktails and Stories from the World’s Hippest Borough by Peter Thomas and Chris Wertz. A gorgeous book jam packed with amazing photography, delicious cocktail recipes, and best of all – history and information on distillery’s all over the area. A look at the bars and restaurants that serve these local spirits, showcasing the work of bartenders and mixologists, as well as referring back to the history of the art of distilling in Brooklyn. Today, we’re sharing a Valentine’s Day cocktail recipe from the book that would be perfect for that holiday, or any day for that matter!

Oh and buy the book – it’s a must have!

Disclaimer: I received a review copy of the book, but opinions are 100% my own!

If you’re in the New York City area and would love to meet the authors of the book, while sipping on cocktails, join them for this fun Tiki Night Event on February 13th: The cocktails will feature Owney’s Rum and Sorel – local spirits.

And speaking of Brooklyn spirits, the authors of Brooklyn Spirits: Craft Cocktails and Stories from the World’s Hippest Borough will be there, too.

Tiki Night menu available from 7-10pm for a special price of $20, which includes one cocktail and pu-pu appetizer platter.

I think you’ll love this Valentine’s Day cocktail recipe!
