Although my husband and I live a bizarre life where our summers are the busiest time of year, since we work at a restaurant on Martha’s Vineyard, that doesn’t mean we don’t take the time to grill and head to the beach on our one day off a week (usually a Monday). Last Monday, we decided to fire up the grill for the first time to grill some hot dogs and I wanted to make a special condiment to go with them. Having a flat of Taylor’s Gold Pears sitting on my counter, it dawned on me that a pear ketchup would be the perfect condiment to slather our hot dogs with!
